The Moose Call
March 2024

President's Message

There were several of our lodge members that attended the Mid-Year Conference in Little Rock.   If you haven’t had a chance to attend, you are missing out.  A Karaoke contest was held, and our very own Johnny Powell won the contest.  Please congratulate Johnny next time you see him.  Next convention will be held in August.  The Karaoke contest will be at this convention also.  The prize is hotel, registration and banquet ticket paid for next convention.

A big shout out goes to Jerry Ingram and Bev Longley for winning the Pool Tournament at the Little Rock Legion Celebration.  The traveling trophy will remain at the lodge until the next celebration if one of the other lodges beats Springdale.

I want to let everyone know that it is that time of year again.  If you would like to run for office this year, please contact a member of the board.

I want to remind everyone that we are now taking credit cards and have an ATM.

Please come out and join us on Sundays for washers and darts.  Darts are the 1st and 3rd and washers are 2nd and 4th.  Fun day will be held on the 5th Sunday’s this will include but not limited to Mexican train and cards. We bring snacks on the 1st Sunday for darts, it is to celebrate our monthly birthdays.

The Women of the Moose hold their fund raisers on the 2nd week of every month please support their efforts in supporting Moose Charities.

I want to remind everyone that our members are the reason we have this lodge and the purpose of it is to support the Children at Mooseheart and the Elderly at Moosehaven.   We encourage our members to bring their guests and join the Moose for this purpose.

Fraternally,

Tina Holloway, President

If the number is your number let Jean Larson, the administrator, know and you will get a free dinner. Search the bulletin…it could be your number!
